Privacy policy for Drawers

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Drawers is an app for keeping photos, videos, files and notes in drawers, separate from your main photo library. This policy explains what happens to your information.

The short version

What the app stores, and where

Photos, videos, files, notes, voice notes, drawer names and your settings are stored on your device, inside the app. They are not sent to us or to any server we run.

iCloud backup (optional)

If you turn on iCloud backup, Drawers saves a copy of your drawers to the private iCloud storage tied to your own Apple ID, using Apple’s CloudKit service. The copy is encrypted, is not visible in the Files app, and can only be opened by Drawers on a device signed in to your Apple ID. We cannot see or access it. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to iCloud.

Backups use your iCloud storage, and you can delete them at any time in Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Storage. Items you delete in Drawers are removed from the backup after 10 days.

Permissions

Children

Drawers does not collect information from anyone, including children.
